EX-FL Fantasy Football Rules

Rules Meeting
- A rules meeting is held every year, a week or 2 before drafting the upcoming season.
- Each team has 1 and only 1 vote. This is important as a team could have multiple managers.
- This is the payment deadline for returning teams.
- Draft order will be determined via a standard "drawing from a hat" procedure.
- Draft slot is subject to change in the scenario where the league contains less than the planned number of teams by draft day.
- When a rule is proposed, ALL present players must vote explicitly "yes/yay" or "no/nay". No Switzerland.
- Remote folks, with at least 1 year of league history under their belts, can attend the rules meeting remotely by some way of their own doing. It's not on the commish to make arrangements for this.
New Rules
- Accepted -> Draft Day is August 26th, 2025.
- Accepted -> One RB slot is being replaced by one Flex slot.
- Accepted -> SPECIAL THUG RULE - removed
- Accepted -> Commish will adjust the waiver priority, following the draft, to the reverse order of the draft order, regardless of which direction the draft order snaked on the final round before starting the season.
Payment Methods
- PayPal (kuwlade at yahoo dot com)
- Venmo (@unrared)
- Cash (DM on Signal for address or bring to rules meeting)
- WECU (DM on Signal for account number)
Divisions
- Divisions are determined by the number of teams in the league. 12 teams will have 3 divisions of 4 teams each. 16 teams will have 4 divisions of 4 teams each. In the case of exactly 14 teams, there will not be divisions. 14 is not as easily divisible like 12 and 16 are. Ditching divisions in this scenario also enables a team to play every other team exactly once.
Keepers
- Keepers need to be declared no later than 24 hours prior to the draft.
Playoffs
- 6 teams make the playoffs, except in the case where we have 10 total teams or less. With 10 or less teams, only 4 teams will be playoff bound.
Deciding Draft Order
- A single hat-drawing mulligan will be allowed only for managers present at the rules meeting. The 2nd number drawn will be final in this scenario.
Live Drafts
- We use traditional player stickers and a physical draft board for our live drafts.
- Players at the draft can take a mulligane to make one missed pick. If a player does not have a mulligan available and misses a pick (goes over the time limit), that spot will be left blank and will be chosen at random from the "shitty hat" at the end of the draft from the remaining stickers.
- A player who leaves the draft early will have all their subsequent picks delayed until the draft concludes and those skipped picks will be drawn at random from the shitty hat.
- No shows and late players who miss a pick will have that pick chosen by the first person in the draft order. The next time it happens, the 2nd person in the draft order will choose the pick. This will continue until the end of the draft order is reached and snake back if there are more missed picks than draft participants.
Waivers
- Waivers are Standard. Waiver priority will persist until a player has been claimed during the waiver period by the team manager.
SPECIAL: The Champ is Here
- The league winner will show up physically to the prior champ's residence, knock on the door and when greeted, ask "Where is my mother-fucking fantasy football trophy?".
SPECIAL: Luck of the Irish
- 5% of each buy-in goes to a side-pot which will be awarded to the owner with the team having the most total points over the regular season that DOES NOT make the playoffs.
- In addition to the side-pot, this person has the option to choose his/her draft slot in next years draft. This is subject to the player remembering to declare it prior to the rules meeting. Spoiler, no one has once remembered this. It's not on the commish to remind folks.
Denied Rules
These rules were voted on and denied at the Rules Meeting. We are keeping them here for historical purposes.
- DENIED -> Next years draft order is reverse order of the previous year's standings.
- DENIED -> Bringing back TE slot
